Sector 1 can be use for many different chain up to you on what you want here
Here is a few ways to set up on Island just about any where
Production Chains (Ratios)
Are very important and it is key not to over build while you are clearing your land. As a TIP only do what the Quest ask you to do.
Plus Don't use any of your gems unless Quest ask you to. You will need gems to buy homes ( Nobles Home with gems is 95 gem).
When you first start out it is a good Idea to only put one store house in per Sector .

Building Placements:
1) you want to group up your buildings around a storehouse whenever possible to shorten walk times.
2) Farm group, in the center of a 9 block area place a storehouse, around the adjacent 8 parcels place farms around those going 2 out place wheat fields, this allows you rapid production.

3) Cutters and Forester groups: a 9 block area, with another 12 spots close to it. Place a store house in the middle of the 9 block area, around that place your cutters around your cutters place foresters (remember 2 cutters : 3 foresters). You want the foresters close to the trees whenever possible.
4) Hunters: you will want to follow a slightly different setup on these place the hunters as close to the trees (where there is game) as possible, you will want hunters in the following formation for best results, using the 9 block principle place a storehouse in the center, on the side closest to the game place 3 hunters with 2 hunters to either side of the storehouse. this gives you 5 hunters, on the back row of 3 you can place 3 butchers and an additional hunter to the left or right of the first 3 hunters or elsewhere.
5) Mines: try to have a storehouse as close as possible (4-6 spots tops).
6) all other production buildings follow the 9 block principle whenever you can you can add more buildings outside that on the 12 blocks but remember they will have a slightly slower building sped of a few seconds.
Cool houses and buildings : take up space and give population I highly suggest u place these outside of the major areas where you have prime real-estate to building the 9 or 12 block principles ( along the edge is good )
Other ways to set up and still making the store house the center
Production Lines:
1) 3 foresters will feed 2 cutters with in turn will feed (1:1 ratio) either 2 bow maker or 2 sawmills
2) 1 copper mine feeds 2 smelters which feed either 1 tool maker or 1 swords maker
3) coal: 2 fir wood foresters will feed 1 cooking plant from there it is a simple to figure out how many u need.
4) 4 Farms feed 2 mills feed 1 bakery
5) 2 hunters feed 1 butcher
6) 3 hard wood cutters will feed 1 longbow maker
